We have also recently added a Masters element to the programme which we are looking to expand.

Head Coach

Our club is looking for an ambitious and committed person to lead the team, and in return offers a genuine opportunity for the right candidate to play a major role in shaping its future.

We are looking for someone with these 5 key attributes:

  • Comfortable working collaboratively with swimmers, parents, coaches and the committee to promote a positive and inclusive environment which reflects the club’s culture and ethos.
  • Able to create and deliver a 3-year plan to develop the club and drive its expansion and success.
  • Confident in managing and supporting our team of dedicated coaches and teachers.
  • Able to adapt your approach to successfully engage with swimmers of varying abilities and aspirations.
  • Keen to inspire through your enthusiasm.

The role is part-time and will include morning and evening training sessions. It will also involve attending open meets/regional weekends. However, we’re a pragmatic club and flexible in our approach, so we can likely accommodate your working patterns.

We offer a competitive salary dependent on experience and are looking to move quickly with this appointment. We are able to schedule initial interviews immediately, with the successful candidate ideally able to join us in September for the new season.

Any offers of employment will be subject to satisfactory references, demonstrable right to work in the UK and a DBS check.

Can you help our swimmers achieve their goals?

Here at Eastleigh Swim Club, we are always delighted to hear from motivated individuals who share our passion for swimming.

We currently have swimmers at all levels within the club, from Learn2Swim through to National Finalists and Medallists.

If you are a qualified Swimming Coach, Strength and Conditioning Coach (with an understanding of swimmers' land training needs) or Physio who can aid with injury prevention/core strengthening and rehabilitation, please feel free to drop us a line to register your interest in our club.

We also welcome contact from Sport and Fitness Students, particularly if they can, within their own course studies, assist our swimmers with land-side support, nutritional advice and training needs.

Additionally, we are intrigued to explore the benefits of using Pilates or Yoga (even clinical) within our land training programme.  If this is something you could assist us with, please feel free to get in touch.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
