Head Coach Update April 2026
05 May 2026
April saw us attend a couple of meets throughout the month. First up was the Haslemere Open Meet. Even though it was a very long day on a very warm poolside, the swimmers showed great spirit and, as always, did not disappoint with their performances. There were more PBs, medals, and valuable race experience gained.
The last weekend of April saw the start of the South East Regionals, and first up was our very own Sammy Scott, who competed during the opening weekend for age group swimmers.
Everyone who competed over the course of the regional weekends represented the club exceptionally well. They also showed great support for one another while racing, which was very good to see.
A big thank you also goes to all the team managers and officials who gave up their weekends to volunteer at all the events.
The Regionals are currently underway, and I would like to wish all those who have qualified and are due to compete the very best of luck. I know you will all do us proud.
Please keep an eye on our social media pages to see how we are getting on and to show your support.

Eastleigh Swim Club
Eastleigh Swim Club Masters had a fantastic day at the Marlins Masters Meet on 7 February 2026, finishing joint second overall. A big well done to everyone who raced, supported and helped make it such a positive team effort.
Eastleigh Swim Club Masters swimmer Kate Steels has taken on one of her most ambitious challenges yet – completing a 21.5km swim from Baltimore to Fastnet Rock in Ireland, with hopes of setting a new ladies' record.
