Head Coach Report February 2026
February was a short but busy month for Eastleigh swim club with the final 2 rounds of Hampshire Counties, a Masters meet and a Valentines Meet in between.
The swimmers again did not disappoint with fantastic swims from all the swimmers lots of new PBs and a huge medal collection along the way well done to every single one of you this is a great achievement from you all and shows that you’re training well and taking on board the information that your coaches are giving you.
Please keep up the hard work as you can see the results every time you race.
Everyone who competed over all the weekends represented the club well, also showed lots of support for each other while racing which was very good to see.
Thank you also goes to all the team managers and officials that gave up their weekends and volunteered at the all the events

Both are level 2 coaches and both have had a great swimming career when they competed please listen and take on board the information that they share with you.

Sunday 22nd March- Due to Leisure centre running a swimathon event and using both pools
Friday 3rd-Monday 6th April Easter weekend- Enjoy all the chocolate!

Eastleigh Swim Club
Eastleigh Swim Club Masters had a fantastic day at the Marlins Masters Meet on 7 February 2026, finishing joint second overall. A big well done to everyone who raced, supported and helped make it such a positive team effort.
Eastleigh Swim Club Masters swimmer Kate Steels has taken on one of her most ambitious challenges yet – completing a 21.5km swim from Baltimore to Fastnet Rock in Ireland, with hopes of setting a new ladies' record.
Eastleigh Swimming Club took part in the Salisbury Swimming Club Open Meet
