New Lead Coach
04 Mar 2019
We are delighted to announce that Paul Dollery has joined our coaching team.
Paul will be leading the coaching team and will take responsibility for developing our swimmers and our coaching staff. Paul will ensure we have a structured programme for each of our swimmers and programmes integrated across all our squads.
Paul joins us from Southampton Dolphins where he co-developed county, regional and national swimmers. Paul started coaching at Locks Heath Swim Club and was assistant head coach there for 6 years. He then spent 4 years as the head coach at Hamble Aquatics and the club achieved great success, including one year the club achieving the second highest amount of medallists at the Hampshire county championships! He has a wealth of experience and at every club he has worked at he has coached swimmers to a regional and national standard.
I am sure you will join me in giving Paul a very warm welcome to our coaching team and Eastleigh Swimming Club.
His first session will be tomorrow night at Kings swimming Pool. So hopefully we will have a large turnout for training tomorrow.
For all those who do not train until Friday he will be attending our Sprint Meet and is looking forward to meeting all the swimmers and parents.
Eastleigh Swim Club Masters swimmer Kate Steels has taken on one of her most ambitious challenges yet – completing a 21.5km swim from Baltimore to Fastnet Rock in Ireland, with hopes of setting a new ladies' record.
Eastleigh Swimming Club took part in the Salisbury Swimming Club Open Meet
We are thrilled to share that our team captain, Alana Maddock, has officially qualified for this year’s Summer Nationals.
