Welsh Nationals Report
16 Apr 2022
Author: Gareth Latham
Last weekend saw the Swim Wales National Championships set in Cardiff. It was attended by 3 of our swimmers.
- Freddie S (6 entries)
- Adam S (5 Entries)
- Rhyseren T (8 Entries)
They contested 19 races between them clocking up 10 PBs and a Bronze medal for Rhyseren in the 800m freestyle event.

As you can imagine, being a national meet, the standard is of the highest quality, so having our swimmers compete in these events and to do so in such a way is great to see.
Well done Freddie, Adam and Rhyseren!

Eastleigh Swim Club Masters had a fantastic day at the Marlins Masters Meet on 7 February 2026, finishing joint second overall. A big well done to everyone who raced, supported and helped make it such a positive team effort.
Eastleigh Swim Club Masters swimmer Kate Steels has taken on one of her most ambitious challenges yet – completing a 21.5km swim from Baltimore to Fastnet Rock in Ireland, with hopes of setting a new ladies' record.
