Eastleigh Swimmers Impress at Salisbury Open Meet

Eastleigh Swimming Club took part in the Salisbury Swimming Club Open Meet—an exciting opportunity for swimmers new to competition to gain valuable experience, and for seasoned racers to fine-tune their skills ahead of a busy summer season.
Our swimmers did not disappoint. Across 197 races entered, Eastleigh athletes delivered an impressive 130 personal bests, earning 29 gold, 29 silver, and 19 bronze medals. In total, 118 swims finished in the top 5, showcasing the depth and strength across all squads.
Swimmers embraced the challenge of unfamiliar events, while others focused on refining specific skills they’ve been working on in training. The atmosphere was made even more special by a visit from our very own Tyler, bringing smiles and support poolside.
Head Coach Darren Buchan praised the efforts of the team:
“Well done to all those that competed at the meet—the hard work that you and your coaches have put in showed.”
