December Head Coach Report
23 Dec 2025
Over the last few weeks of December, before the Christmas break, Eastleigh swimmers competed at our very own Club Championships and the Southampton Open Meet. As always, our swimmers did not disappoint — they raced hard, achieved huge PBs, and many picked up additional qualifying times for the Hampshire County Championships.
Everyone who competed across both events represented the club brilliantly and showed lots of support for each other while racing, which was excellent to see. This has been a very successful first part of the season and shows that the hard work being put in by both coaches and swimmers is starting to pay off.
I would also like to say a big thank you to all team managers and our club officials who supported these events — your help is vital and very much appreciated.
Finally, I hope you all had a great Christmas break and New Year celebrations, and that you’ve already noticed some improvements across sessions, communication and feedback following the coaching survey shared over the summer.
A full overview of what you told us and how we’re responding — including what we’ve implemented so far and what’s next — is available here: Coaching Feedback: “You Said, We Will”
