Head Coach Update October 2025
13 Nov 2025
A Strong Start to the Season, Impressive Racing, and Great News for Eastleigh
Welcome back to a brand-new season! It’s been fantastic to see everyone returning to training with such energy and commitment. Our swimmers have already tackled some challenging sets, shown great focus, and set a really positive tone for the months ahead. Thank you all for your hard work.
Hart Distance Meet – 18–19 October 2025
We kicked off the competition season with the long-distance events at the Hart Distance Meet, where a small group of swimmers took on the 800m and 1500m challenges. Every swimmer performed exceptionally well, achieving huge personal bests and securing qualifying times for the 2026 Hampshire County Championships.
A special well done to those who raced the 800m on Saturday and returned on Sunday for the 1500m – two tough events back-to-back, and you handled them brilliantly.
Hart Autumn Meet – 25–26 October 2025
The following weekend, we were back at Hart for their Autumn Meet. Once again, our swimmers delivered outstanding results, with PBs across the board, plenty of medals, and even more county times achieved.
Across both weekends, it was fantastic to see how well everyone represented Eastleigh Swim Club. The support, encouragement, and team spirit shown on poolside were excellent.
Coming Up: Rushmoor Royals Open Meet
We’re now looking ahead to the Rushmoor Royals Open Meet on 22–23 November. Best of luck to all swimmers taking part – we’re excited to see more strong swims and brilliant racing.
