Welcome back to the new season! It’s been great to see everyone returning to training with such energy and commitment. The swimmers have already tackled some tough sets, shown excellent focus, and set a really positive tone for the months ahead — thank you all for your hard work.
The competition season is now officially underway, and Eastleigh Swim Club has had a brilliant start.
Over the weekend of 18–19 October, a small group of swimmers took on the long-distance events at the Hart Distance Meet (800m and 1500m). They all swam exceptionally well, achieving huge PBs and securing qualifying times for the 2026 Hampshire County Championships.
A special well done to those who raced the 800m on Saturday and came back on Sunday for the 1500m — tough events, but you made them look easy!
The following weekend, 25–26 October, we returned to Hart for their Autumn Meet. Once again, our swimmers performed brilliantly, with PBs across the board, lots of medals, and more county times achieved.
Across both weekends, every swimmer represented Eastleigh incredibly well. The support they showed for one another was fantastic to see — real team spirit.
Thank you also to all our team managers and club officials for giving up your time to help over both weekends. We couldn’t do it without you.
