Strong Performances, Team Spirit, and Exciting Weeks Ahead
It’s been a fantastic few weeks for Eastleigh Swim Club, with our swimmers showing great progress, dedication, and team spirit both at home and away.
Club Championships – June 2025
Our Club Championships, held last month, were a brilliant showcase of what Eastleigh SC is all about. From our youngest Learn to Swim participants to our senior swimmers, it was great to see everyone getting involved, setting new personal bests, and gaining valuable racing experience.
A real highlight was seeing our older swimmers supporting the younger ones, offering advice, helping in the whipping area, and setting a great example of leadership and club values.
Special thanks to Julie, our land training coach, for designing an excellent pre-pool warm-up, and to our Club Captains for leading it with enthusiasm and energy. Events like this wouldn’t be possible without our amazing volunteers and officials, so thank you all for helping the weekend run smoothly.
If you haven’t already seen them, Paul Rutherford has circulated some great stats and summaries from the event – a great way to reflect on everyone’s achievements.
Havant & Waterlooville Open Meet – July 2025
This month, our swimmers competed at the Havant & Waterlooville Open Meet. There were excellent swims across the board, with lots of personal bests and even some well-earned medals heading back to Eastleigh!
As always, our swimmers represented the club with pride and positivity. Huge thanks to the team managers who supported them throughout the weekend – especially on such a hot poolside!
Coming Up: Winchester Open Meet
We’re now looking ahead to the Winchester Open Meet on 19th–20th July. Best of luck to all our swimmers taking part – we look forward to seeing even more strong swims and club spirit in action.
