An exciting new addition to our coaching team and a familiar face to many of our swimmers, we are delighted to announce that Matt Boyd-Wallis has joined the club as our Assistant Head Coach.

Matt comes with a great reputation for swimmer development and is an especially popular appointment with those of our swimmers who have worked with Matt at previous clubs.

He has great experience as an ex-national level swimmer and is a level 3 qualified coach. Matt has great expertise in land work too and will be working with our swimmers on core-based land training.

Matt will primarily work alongside our Head Coach, Paul, with the Senior and Performance squad swimmers. In Paul’s absence, Matt will act as the Head Coach leading the sessions and dealing with any immediate issues that may arise.

Paul has worked alongside Matt in previous clubs and is fully supportive of the coaching Matt is going to deliver to our swimmers.

With this latest addition to the coaching team we anticipate the club continuing going from strength to strength and becoming a club of real choice within the area.

Matt was introduced to the squads training at Places Leisure Eastleigh on Friday and will return poolside on Monday 13th January for more introductions before taking on his coaching role.
