Head Coach Report March 2026
March was another busy month for meets as the last weekend of the Hampshire County Championships were finishing up with the under 14 and then we competed at both Millfield and Winchester Open Meets.
The swimmers again did not disappoint with fantastic swims from all the swimmers lots of new PBs and had a few medals collected along the way. Well done to every one who had competed in these meets as these are not easy meets as this tends to be the last chance to qualify for British Champs/Nationals and Regionals so there was some big competition from other clubs but you did not disappoint as we showed we can compete well in these events.
Please keep up the hard work as you can see the results every time you race.
Everyone who competed over all the weekends represented the club well, also showed lots of support for each other while racing which was very good to see.
Thank you also goes to all the team managers and officials that gave up their weekends and volunteered at the all the events
Regionals are coming up fast and we have had more swimmers qualify this year than we did last year so well done to all those that qualified even if its one event you still made it and the hard work you put in shows so lets go out there and enjoy it!!
We have one meet coming up before the start of Regionals I would like to wish those competing at that meet good luck I look forward to seeing how you all swim.

Eastleigh Swim Club
Eastleigh Swim Club Masters had a fantastic day at the Marlins Masters Meet on 7 February 2026, finishing joint second overall. A big well done to everyone who raced, supported and helped make it such a positive team effort.
Eastleigh Swim Club Masters swimmer Kate Steels has taken on one of her most ambitious challenges yet – completing a 21.5km swim from Baltimore to Fastnet Rock in Ireland, with hopes of setting a new ladies' record.
